As a general rule of thumb, the front legs of any seating furniture, like your couch, should be on the rug. If you have a bigger space, opt for a larger rug and style your furniture so that all the legs sit on it to create a luxurious feeling.

To prevent chairs from catching on the rug’s edges, ensure your rug extends at least 60cm beyond the table on all sides. This allows for smooth movement when pulling chairs in and out.

Not sure which size to choose? A 2 x 3m rug suits a queen-sized bed, while a 3 x 4m rug works best for king-sized beds, extending around the bed for a soft landing.
